My only problem with these sandals is they wear out (the part that comes in contact with the sole of my foot, not the upper piece) too soon for me. so what I do is the older pair I wear at home, the new pair I wear to work. I am in them at home all year and at work in the summer months. Maybe that's why they wear out!!
So comfortable even between the toes, from the moment I put them on. I tried another pair of sandals that I can not wear dur to them being too hard to break in...

It's a great sandal overall. The only criticism I have is that the extra wide width is not really extra wide, so my foot is not entirely on the sandal. However, I make it work.

This is the second pair of these sandals I've purchased. I find them very comfortable. I did find that the second pair might require a SMALL AMOUNT OF BREAK-IN TIME. I have these in silver. I love the style and comfort. My only complaint is that they run very narrow. I usually wear a normal wide width and I had to order extra wide and they are still not wide enough. That is my only complaint. I really love these sandals.

I own two pairs of these sandles and they are truely comfortable. They seem too run a little short on size; so you might consider a half size larger than you normally wear. Other than that--just a darned good sandle.

These shoes are so comfortable and versatile. Sort of a dressed-up casual look. The insoles are suede and lightly cushy. I have them in nearly every color. It's difficult for me to find sandals that can accomodate both my big, wide feet and my bunions, so I was delighted to discover a great-looking sandal that does both! The D width is a little too wide for me -- I buy the regular width and can wear either a 10 or 11. I work in a casual office by day and evenings at an outdoor theatre, and the Silverthorn is perfect for both. Plus, the cushioning is terrific when I'm standing on concrete for hours!

The tong is causing a blister on the left foot,but hopefully they will break in and be confortable. I love the style and colors. The only reason I didn't rate this thong a "5" is because the footbed is NOT suede in the gold leather version. It is probably faux leather; my feet stick to it. But I've put this sandal through the ringer in the last 5 weeks - a 10 day Caribbean Cruise followed by a spring break trip to Hawaii, and it was perfect. No break in, it looked nice in port is nice enough to wear to dinner; I wore it all week in Kona to the beach, to go to dinner and to go shopping, and it looks great and feels great.

I ordered my first pair of Minnetonka Women's Silverthorne Thong sandals in black last year. I have received many compliments and they are the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned. I think I have a shoe fettish (last count I owned 172 pair of shoes or boots). So many times you try on a comfortable pair of shoes/sandals, but they look "dorky" -- not the case with these! I wore them on a trip to Nashville, Indiana in August of 2008, with a group of girls and I bought the: red, caramel, and navy silverthrone thong sandals at the shoe store down there. My sis and another gal each bought a pair (black and navy). I can't think of any "cons" that I have with this sandal. Whatever your manufacturing process is -- keep it up!! These are the second pair I bought. The first time I bought them in blue to go with jeans, etc. Living in a warm state we wear thongs almost all year round. Then I saw them on sale in orange. Wearing a 10N I have trouble getting shoes so when I saw these I knew I had to buy them.

Most of my friends have bought them either here or in the stores and love them They all wear a M width and have no problems at all. Having narrow foot I have problems. These aren' quite narrow enough for my foot but because of the style I can keep them on.

They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever been able to get. I'm sure I will buy more of them in the future....especially if they are on sale again.

My first pair of Minnetonka thongs lasted 7 years. My second pair is 5 years old, and just now showing signs of wear. Long-lasting and very durable, even after getting wet several times.
